Athlete of the Week: Andrew Eckhoff, Men's Swimming and Diving

Andrew Eckhoff swept the diving events at the 2013 America East Championships for a second-straight season as the men’s swimming and diving team won the conference title for the ninth time in ten years. The Chelmsford, Mass. native also earned the Most Outstanding Male Diver award for the second year in a row for his efforts. On the first day of the competition, Eckhoff bested the field in both the prelims and the finals of the 1-meter competition to earn his first gold medal of the meet. Then on Day Three, after once again topping the preliminary standings, the senior captain broke the meet record in the 3-meter finals with a score of 346.85 to claim another gold. Eckhoff, along with Ryan Green, Katie Bean, and Corinna Darelius will all compete at the NCAA Zones Diving meet on Mar. 13-16 at Virginia Tech.
