Athlete of the Week: Brian Neller, Men's Basketball

Brian Neller hit a season-high five treys and tied a 2012-13 season-best with 15 points in the Retrievers’ 70-57 victory over Hartford. The Red Bank, N.J. native was named UMBC's America East Player of the Game for his efforts. Neller is now 14-of-31 (45.2%) from behind the arc in his last four outings and is second in the America East with 2.3 treys made per game. Also, he leads the conference with 3.2 3-pointers converted in conference action this season. In his career, Neller has made 212 3-point field goals and needs 11 more to move into fifth place on UMBC's all-time list.
