Athlete of the Week: Mallory McIntyre, Women's Volleyball

Junior setter Mallory McIntyre dished out a total of 92 assists, including a career-high 59 against Albany, as the volleyball team swept its two weekend matches. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native, also scooped up 15 digs on Friday for her fourth double-double of the year as the Retrievers downed the Great Danes for the first time since 2007. Then on Sunday, McIntyre handed out 33 helpers to lead UMBC to a straight set victory over Hartford at the RAC. For the year, McIntyre has recorded 633 assists and is second in the America East with a 9.74 assists/per set average.
