Athlete of the Week: Sherelle Walker, Women's Volleyball

Freshman outside hitter Sherelle Walker led the Retrievers to a 2-2 mark at last weekend’s season-opening Battle at the Bay, and was named to the All-Tournament Team after recording 45 kills in the four matches. The New Freedom, Pa. native, averaged 3.75 kills per set while registering two double-digit kill performances. After picking up nine kills in her collegiate debut against Towson, Walker earned her first double-digit kill contest with 10 put-away against Morgan State. She was not done, however, as she set a new team-high with 21 kills against BIG EAST foe St. John’s.
