UMBC Athlete of the Week: Iman Kennedy, Volleyball

Senior middle blocker Iman Kennedy notched a season-high 17 kills and hit a season-best .406 in UMBC’s 3-2 loss at America East rival Stony Brook on Saturday. The Charlotte, N.C., native also recorded five blocks in the contest, bringing her season total to 61, good for second on the team. Kennedy leads the Retrievers and ranks fifth in the America East with a .265 hitting percentage, and she is second all-time at UMBC with 259 career assisted blocks.
