Athlete of the Week: Kim Berghaus, Women's Tennis

Entering the week ranked in the ITA National and Regional polls, Kim Berghaus led the women’s tennis team to victories over St. Francis (Pa.) and St. Joseph’s last weekend. Berghaus teamed up with senior Carmen Jackman and picked up two doubles victories. First, against Lucy Jasso and Alex Sachs of St. Francis (Pa.), 8-4, and the next day against Aurora Davis and Casey Robinson of St. Joseph’s, 8-1. Berghaus also topped Jasso in two sets in singles competition, 6-2, 6-0 and battled back to pick up a three-set victory over Robinson. After dropping the first set, 3-6, Berghaus won the second set 6-2 and the third 10-6 in a super tie breaker.
