Fever Retrievers

The Fever Retrievers, UMBC Athletic Department's newest dance group, became crowd favorites last basketball season. The Fever Retrievers work side by side with the "Down and Dirty DAWG Band" and perform during timeouts alongside UMBC's all-star Drumline. The Fevers are responsible for enhancing game atmosphere at UMBC home basketball games. Fever Retriever members interact with fans, perform at timeouts and literally dance in the aisles. Last year's squad size was 10 dancers but this season we are looking to expand the team to 15 dancers!

The Fever Retrievers rehearse twice a week from September - early March. The team also travels to the America East Conference Basketball Tournament the first week in March.
