Mohamed Hussein broke the UMBC Aquatic Complex pool record in the 200 IM for the second straight year on Saturday against Howard. In addition, the Cairo, Egypt native helped the 200 free and 200 medley relay teams set new pool records as well. After leading off for the 200 medley quartet which clocked in at 1:32.44, Hussein blew past the competition in the final individual event of the day, the 200 IM, touching in with a new top time of 1:51.07. He then finished the meet by anchoring the 200 free team to victory and posting a new record time of 1:23.70.
